Primary school pupils from Hull and East Riding came to The Guildhall today to present what they had learned and earned from participating in Hull Ready’s Make £5 blossom challenge. Local businesses had loaned £5 per student and their support to come up with a business idea which would make a profit. All pupils were able to talk about the Big 13 enterprise skills they had used and what they had learned – teamwork, financial literacy and risk management featured strongly. Funded by Yorkshire Forward and managed by YES youth enterprise services Hull Ready is part of the roll out of Rotherham Ready.
